...POETRY...
I have this idiosyncrasy by which this poem eventuated. I showed it to a friend and he for some legitimate reason that keeps his wise intact was unable to equate Eight Deaths to anything more than just a title...anyone out there care to proffer a theory?
Eight Deaths
The graves of each king
are full of the frost
and their winter
burns with grayswift
turning all seasons
on their heel
the hope of Ages
now belongs to he
who is too smart
to fall

For those wondering - each line has the name of a classic poet. Was I ever going to get this? Read my blog. I write about superheroes and transforming robots. Classical poetry is hardly my raison d'etre.
Even so, very good piece of work. It works on more levels than its 'gimmick'. Would look quite at home in the middle of a fantasy novel, actually.
