Poetry
Hey, since i'm not reading the novel i should be reading - thought i'd get on here and do a little posting. Make use of the writing i have been doing. So here's a poem to anybody who ever wanted something they thought they could not have, but still found time to believe.
Leeward
I did not know it then
the gradual deforming
that began at my birth
How my cells began
to turn on themselves
tenfold
The lines of a ruler mean more
when you have something
to measure them to
it follows so much more
than the stroll of my fingers
marking the circumference
of potential
ah the central masterpiece
must have begun with immaculate inception
each masterstroke then bettering
its former
you at my babyless belly
promise humanity
in a wink and a surgeons scalpel
Leeward
I did not know it then
the gradual deforming
that began at my birth
How my cells began
to turn on themselves
tenfold
The lines of a ruler mean more
when you have something
to measure them to
it follows so much more
than the stroll of my fingers
of potential
ah the central masterpiece
must have begun with immaculate inception
each masterstroke then bettering
its former
you at my babyless belly
promise humanity
in a wink and a surgeons scalpel

i'm glad you put your book down for a while. I read this and The Appreciation of Man, and Mother, too.
I enjoy your poetry, your muse is most kind..
