ROUND 2 FOOTY
As promised, here is my R2 take.
Bad start again for me to tipping. The game we never should have lost we lost somehow. But, there's only good and gooder to speak of beyond Collingwood's 2point loss to the Bane.
The Bulldogs were never in doubt against the Dees. Enough said on that.
Watching the Eagles drop from the heights was rather pleasing, as the Crows took the skies.
The Blues tried to down the Saints, but the Saints stopped toying and started playing.
Ah yes, to the PINNACLE POINT. The Hawks at full soar against the Dockers was an even more pleasing result than the Coasts defeat.
Lets see that's 4 out of 5 as it so happens. Saturday's a good night to sleep, as the scar of Friday is healing. Then wake to a Sunday Swanfest at a Port expense, but still it's good to see Shaun Burgoyne touch the ball.
Never believe a delerious Matthew Lloyd, I didn't. He didn't really think his Bombers could stay in the skies?
To end a great round, the Kangars salute leaving me with a healthy 7 out of 8 for round 2.
