The Way of the Warrior...

'Anyone who watches cricket must have lard in their veins!' he says to me.
How can anyone who has experienced cricket - player or spectator - utter such untruth? Yet he says it, claims it in his eyes with belief to rival the depths of oceans.
Has he not seen the bowling wizardry of Shane Warne, the grand mastery of Vivian Richards, the aeronautic artistry of Jeffrey Dujon, the batting genius of Ricky Ponting, the comedic plays of Billy Bowden, the 'dramatis personae' of Darrell Hair, and 'the devil made me do it, 'Hansje?
How can he not see Shakespearean Immortality?
I thank the Cricket Gods for their creation.
I am waiting out the hiatus between Ashes. My wait is ending. The Battle ensues, my listless fluid is stirring.
Thank you Darrell Hair for the advertisement. But can I have some more please, Sir?
